Khusra. Stains and Stencils Art Publication

Khusra: Stains and Stencils publication by Qasim Riza Shaheen for Shisha the international agency for contemporary South Asian crafts and visual arts.

The hardback publication is bound in a fabric textured stock that enhances the image detail of the artist’s mothers dress printed on the cover. The word ‘KHUSRA’ utilises a holographic foil block which mirrors the colour and life of the Khusra community.

The book was split in to two sections. These sections were printed on contrasting papers. The front section on a brilliant white, high gloss paper and the back section on a high polished uncoated stock.
